Inside the glass ball a candle is lit so the dial is illuminated. There is only one hand in the front, the ball with hourindication turnes.
At night they are illuminated by a candle.
This clock has a vertical dial with Japanese numerals. The hand will shift down to indicate the hours.

Two mystery clocks by Guilmet. The pendulum drive is well hidden In the middle you can find a small Briggs rotary pendulum clock.
The blue ball holding the movement will rotate.
